Isaac Storm Weakens, But Still So Threats

Forecasters say Tropical Storm Isaac will be weakened Thursday as the storm continued to move north in the state of Louisiana in the U.S. Gulf Coast . U.S. National Hurricane Center said Isaac carrying maximum winds of 95 kilometers per hour , and can drop up to 63 inches of rainfall in some parts of Louisiana , Mississippi , Alabama and Arkansas through Friday . The storm was expected to move towards the west of drought-stricken central U.S. , where rain is needed . Isaac struck Louisiana and the states of Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast Wednesday as a category one hurricane , which caused high winds , heavy rains and flooding .
